Meet Mrs. Major

 

Hello and welcome to Full Day Kindergarten at Wren Hollow!  It is my pleasure to introduce myself.  My name is Jennifer Major.  I am so excited to be teaching your child Kindergarten this year.  I love teaching and absolutely love Wren Hollow! 

I have been teaching for 22 years.  I began my teaching career teaching at Missouri School for the Blind.  I became an itinerant teacher for blind and visually impaired children in St. Louis Public Schools.  I have taught Early Childhood Special Education and general education preschool.  This is my fifth year teaching Kindergarten at Wren Hollow.  I graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and master’s in Early Childhood Special Education. 

I have been married to my husband, Bruce for thirteen years.  I have one stepdaughter, Jenna, who is in college.  We have one daughter, Madison, who is in fifth grade at Oak Brook.  We live in Ballwin and have a cocker spaniel named Rudy. 

I am very excited about the new school year.  I encourage you to come to me at any time with questions and/or concerns!  We are going to have an awesome year of learning!
