Survival Skills

Having led numerous people on wilderness survival trips, you are a valuable asset to your group. Part of your job will be to make sure that the basic needs of all survivors are met—food, shelter, heat, water, medicine, etc.—while also planning to increase your likelihood of rescue.
Because you cannot do all of these on your own, you will need to present the information to your group and determine how you would delegate this work amongst your fellow survivors.
Remember also that part of the plane is still intact. You can find out what supplies are typically on planes using the "Chapter 3" link at the bottom of this page.
Directions: Download the "Survival" graphic organizer as an example of how to record your notes for this section and use the sites below as resources. You will turn this in at the end of the project. When you are finished, return to the "Process" page.
