Welcome to 7th grade English! Our classroom will follow a Reading and Writing Workshop structure. Our studies will focus on two essential questions: How do my choices affect my community? Community or individual, which is more important? During Reading Workshop, we will focus on learning strategies to comprehend and make meaningful responses to literature. During Writing Workshop, we will focus on writing in a variety of genres with emphasis on author's craft and audience.
Bring everyday to class: a pen/pencil, a positive attitude and an open-mind! These items will help you succeed in my classroom and throughout your life.
