Mr. Davis has taught in the Parkway School District for 23 years. He has been the director of bands at Parkway Southwest Middle School since 1995.   Prior to that he served as elementary band director at Bellerive, Craig, Hanna Woods, Henry, Mason Ridge, McKelvey and Ross Elementary Schools. During his career Mr. Davis has been a staff member of South High, North High and West High’s Marching Bands and the director of the North High Jazz Band.

Mr. Davis has earned a Bachelors degree in Music Education from UM-St. Louis and a Masters degree in Jazz Studies from Webster University. In 2000, Mr. Davis served as St. Louis Suburban Music Educator's first Vice President for Middle School Jazz Band.

Mr. Davis is the coordinator (and founding member) of the Parkway Faculty and Friends Big Band and plays trumpet in the Parkway Brass Quintet, Yessir! and City Trio. Mr. Davis has performed as guest soloist for the Washington University, Parkway South High, Parkway North High and Parkway West High Jazz Ensembles.

Mr. Davis is married and lives in Chesterfield his wife Christie and daughter Kaitlin.
