South High PTO
Welcome to South High PTO. Every parent and staff member is a part of the
PTO. We welcome input and participation from everyone. South High PTO's
sources of funds are the sale of the buzz book and operating the concession
stand at school events. Student Activities, groups, and sports teams staff the
concession stand and share in the profits. PTO has committees to provide
support and show appreciation to the South High Staff. Dozens of PTO
volunteers provide Staff Appreciation through meals and snacks, administer
the Teacher Grant Program, organize Spirit Night, celebrate special
recognition days for Administration, Secretarial Staff, Custodial Staff and
more as well as provide Hospitality for parents at school events. PTO also
organizes the PALS group for each class and we encourage you to get involved
with them. Please attend our PTO meetings, which are held at 7:00pm in the
South High Library. It is a great way to find out what is happening. We

PARKWAY SOUTH HIGH TO HOST ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF FOODS AND SILENT AUCTION
Parkway South High's popular Festival of Foods and Silent Auction returns this year April 16, 2012 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. The fundraiser is organized by parents to support a non-alcoholic, all night graduation party for the class of 2013.
The event features local restaurants, who provide a sample of their house specialties. Also included in the evening's festivities is a silent auction.
Tickets can be purchased by mail using the attached form, teacher conferences and Mr. Patriot. They will also be available in the bookstore early April and during lunches April 12-16. The cost of the event is $10 in advance or $11 at the door the night of the event.
