Important Information  

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

 

Each authorized individual may obtain his or her own activation key only upon showing a valid picture ID and his or her copy of the Parkway School District Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal PARENT User Agreement.  The process to activate your account should take about 15 minutes provided proper documentation is completed and ID is ready.

Opening the parent portal will give students and parents access to basic contact information; attendance records; immunization history; transportation information; and class schedules, assignments and grades for middle and high school students. (See Parent Guide for more information)

PSH parents/legal guardians can obtain their personal assigned activation keys at South High during regular school hours. Activation keys will also be available on the following dates and times listed below:

The above students of Parkway South High have all been signed by colleges for their athletic talents. Kristy Martinez (left) has been signed by Arkansas-Pine Bluff for her achievements in girls soccer. Alphonso Scott (center) is going to attend St. Cloud State University for his success in football and track. Next year Erin Dalton (right) will be attending Colorado Baptist for her accomplishments in soccer. Congratulations to all of you, good luck next year!

  • Have you taken many science courses? Do you love science? Maybe you can be a member of Beta Chi Pi (National Science Honor Society)? Ask you current science teacher about the organization and if they will nominate you. Beta Chi Pi is currently accepting applications for membership.  Please get the paper work filled out and turn it into Mrs. Scott (room 3422) by Thursday, February 11th. Questions? Ask your friendly neighborhood science teacher or Mrs. Scott.
  • The Spring sports season begins in just FIVE weeks!! Are you preparing now? If not, come work out with the Girls' Track team Monday thru Thursday at 3:05. This will continue till February 25! You do NOT have to be on the track team to participate. Mondays and Wednesdays, you will meet in the commons and Tuesdays and Thursdays, meet in the weight room. This is open to everyone!! Please see Coach Guymon or Coach Hibbler for more details!
  • FBLA Members competing in district competition don't forget to take your complete your online tests by February 10 and turn in your field trip forms to Mrs. Shanfeld.
  • Hey Foosball Club, We will hold a Student-Staff Foosball Tournament on Thursday February 11th right after school.  All skill levels are welcome! Questions? See Mr. Kozeny in room 1709.
  • REGISTRATION FOR AP TESTS WILL BEGIN Monday, February 8 UNTIL Thursday, MARCH 11.  THE COST FOR EACH EXAM IS $86.00.   FOR EACH EXAM TAKEN THERE IS A $30.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $30.00 PAYABLE AT THE BOOKSTORE WITH THE $56.00 BALANCE DUE IN THE BOOKSTORE BY MARCH 23, 2010.  SHOULD THERE BE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE SEE YOUR TEACHER OR MR. WILLIAMS IN GUIDANCE.
  • Attention Meat Club!  T-shirts are in!  If you ordered one, see Jake Auinbauh Monday or Tuesday to pick it up.
  • The Winter Play All My Sons by Arthur Miller will be presented by the Theatre Department Feb 10-13. Times and ticket prices are posted on the Marquee outside the theater and tickets may be purchased during aclab and before/after school every day next week. See Mrs. Forrest-James for questions.
  • Attention freshmen!  If you sold cookies for the service learning project for Honor Flight there will be delivered on Tuesday 9th during 7th block.  You MUST use your passes your history teacher gives you and come pick them up on Tuesday. 
  • Attention sophomores and juniors.  NHS applications were mailed out to all eligible members.    In order to be considered for membership you must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75.   If you have not received an application at your home and think you are eligible please see Mr. Lappin in the counseling loft immediately.
  • There is a MANDATORY meeting for all girls (and parents) interested in trying out for the Patriettes on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17 at 6:30 pm in the South High library.  You must attend to pick up a tryout packet.
  • Attention current Juniors – Class of 2011.  Senior parking applications will be available in the Bookstore from Tuesday, February 16th through Thursday, March 11th.  All fines and fees must be paid before you will be given an application.  The $60 payment for parking is due at the time you turn in your application.  Be sure to bring your student ID.
  • Cadets your 3 written observations should be turned into your supervising teachers no later than this Thursday, 2/11.
  • Service Learning students need to turn in their logs and journals to Mrs. Ryan in room 1305 by Thursday, 2/11.
  • There will be a SSJLAC meeting in room 2414 on Wednesday, February 10th from 3p-4pm.
  • There will be a meeting Wednesday, February 10th for all boys interested in trying out for the 2010 golf team.   The meeting will be held in room 1708 and will start at 3:00 and end by 3:20.     If you cannot attend make sure you contact Mr. Wade.
  • Don't miss out - sign up in the bookstore by Friday, Feb. 12th to be a Special Olympics buddy or to work in the Olympic Village.
  • Sign Language Club will meet after school Tuesday in Mrs. Veatch's room (104).  Beginners are welcome.
  • Amnesty International is meeting in Mrs. Daniels room, 1543, on Tuesday after school.
