Infinite Campus Portal Course Guide
 

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Each authorized individual may obtain his or her own activation key only upon showing a valid picture ID and his or her copy of the Parkway School District Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal PARENT User Agreement.  The process to activate your account should take about 15 minutes provided proper documentation is completed and ID is ready.

Opening the parent portal will give students and parents access to basic contact information; attendance records; immunization history; transportation information; and class schedules, assignments and grades for middle and high school students. (See Parent Guide for more information

2/22/11

Yearbook Purchase

Attention parents and students. Yearbooks have been distributed. Any students who did not pick up their yearbooks can pick them up in the school store during the school year. Also, we should have a few extra yearbooks. Those are being sold on a first-come-first-served basis. The extra books will cost $65. If you have any questions contact Gavin Brady at gbrady@parkwayschools.net.


Daily Announcements
2/22 - 2/23

1. Attention all PSH baseball fans.  Show your support for Parkway South baseball.  Stickers for car windows will be sold during lunch today, Wednesday, 2/22 for $5 each.  All proceeds will support the Parkway South baseball program.
 
2.  ALL GIRLS interested in participating in track and field: There will be a FINAL informational meeting today, Wednesday, February 22, in Room 1704 (Coach John's room) at 2:50 pm. Be there to pick up your emergency cards and physical forms, if necessary. Even if you've attended one of the previous meetings, you need to be at this meeting.
 
3. The American Mathematics Competition will be held today, Wednesday, February 22nd, after school in Ms. John's room, room 1704 in the math wing.  This is a national, 75 minute contest and some colleges are interested in this score for admittance and scholarships.  If interested in taking the AMC 10 or AMC 12, see Ms. John or Mr. Degitz for details.
 
4. All football players see coach Blevins  in equipment room during Ac Lab Wednesday February 22.
 
5. Cooking club will meet Thursday February 23rd after school!
 
6. Hey Parkway South Fishing Club, we will have a meeting this Thursday, February 23rd right after school in Mr. Rhodes's room to discuss our upcoming cooking class.

7. Hey South High - did you know that Beta Chi Pi collects the Box Tops.  We would appreciate it if you could cut, collect, and bring in the Box Top pieces.  Just give them to any science teacher; it supports good things in the science department.
 
8. Juniors: College reps are visiting in the College & Career Center. Check Family Connection for the list and to sign up. Or stop by the Counseling Loft.
 
9. AP registration is open until March 28.  The cost for each exam will be $87.00 and one payment will be required payable by check or by cash in the bookstore.  Certain students maybe eligible for a discounted amount per exam.  Please see Mr. Williams in Counseling if there are any questions related to the exams.
 
10. What are you doing this summer? Would you like to attend a leadership camp, explore engineering or get a taste of med school? Check the listing of summer opportunities on the counseling page of pshwired.net or talk to Mrs. Gerike in counseling.
 
11. Attention Sophomore and Juniors.  National Honor Society applications have been mailed to the homes of every 10th and 11th grader with a 3.75 Grade Point Average or above.  If you are interested in applying but did not receive an application please see Mr. Lappin in the counseling loft immediately.
 
12.  Attention current Sophomores - Class of 2014. Junior parking applications will be available in the Bookstore through Friday, March 2nd. All fines and fees must be paid before you will be given an application and Juniors are required to share a parking space with another Junior.  The cost of the permit is $75 and payment is due at the time you pick up your permit in August. Be sure to take your student ID with you when you go to pick up an application.
 
13. Attention Seniors:  Your $60.00 graduation fee is due now.  You have until April 13 to pay this.  Please make sure all fines and fees are cleared before paying your graduation fee in the bookstore.
 
14. Are you feeling smart?  Do you like trivia?   Grab your smartest friends and come to the AFS Trivia Night on Saturday, March 3 for some fun.  Everyone is welcome.  Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students for tables of 8 people.  All money goes to benefit the AFS scholarship fund!   See Mrs. Veatch for more information.
 
15. Attention freshman girls lacrosse players.  The first practice will be on Monday, February 27th and will start in Coach Timmons' room, room 1545 immediately after school.  Be sure to have a current physical on file and to bring a completed parent permission form to the first practice.
 
16. ATTENTION ALL MALE ATHLETES, ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE VARSITY LOCKER ROOM BY THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH. ANY LOCKS LEFT ON WILL BE CUT OFF AND BELONGINGS REMOVED.
 
17. Come out and support the Lady Patriots tonight, as they take on Marquette in the district semi-finals.  Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.  See you there. 
 
18. Senior Patriot Wrestler Donnell Walker made school history this past weekend winning the Missouri Class 4 state wrestling championship in the 285 lb weight class.  Donnell is only the 4th state champion in school history.  In the finals, Donnell pinned returning state champ and Mizzou recruit Evan Boehm.  Donnell finishes his wrestling career at South as a State champion, 2x state placer, and the newest member of the Patriot Wrestling Dream Team.  Congratulations, Donnell!
 
19. Congratulations to the boys varsity basketball team on their Conference Championship.  The boys defeated Lafayette 70-58 on Friday night.  The Patriots will take on Marquette on Wednesday at 7:30 in the District Semi-final game at home.
