Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Question:  On what side of the school do parents park in order to pick up students from after-school activities?

Answer: The parents pick up students on the North SIDE of the building.  The buses load students on the South SIDE of the building.

Question:  Is there a time when students should be picked up after the activities period?

Answer: 4:30

Question:  What if a weekly sign up sheet is full before I sign up?

Answer:  Unfortunately, there are limits on some weekly activities.  Please try again the next week!

Question:  Can I suggest a new activity?

Answer:  If you have an idea for a club or activity that you would like to see at Northeast, please share this with Ms. Scarlett.  If there is a sponsor for this club or activity and enough seats are available on the activity buses, she will add this to the after-school activities program.

Question:  Can students ride home on a different activity bus to go to a friend's house?

Answer:  We are sorry, but there are no bus passes available for the activity buses.  Students are to ride their ASSIGNED activity bus.

Question:  Are there activity buses available for mixers and dances?

Answer: Yes, however, each bus is limited to 55 students.  When students purchase the mixer/dance ticket they MUST SIGN UP for an activity bus.  If the bus space is unavailable, they will need to make arrangements for a ride PRIOR to the event.  We encourage students to purchase tickets for these special events as early as possible.

Question:  What if I want to join a fleetball, basketball, volleyball or soccer team, but I don't know anyone who wants to be on a team?

Answer: Talk with Ms. Scarlett or one of the sponsors of the teams (to be announced later) and they will see that you are placed on a team.
