What about my student with special needs?
If your student has an IEP or is unusually anxious about middle school, navigating the building, his or her schedule, after school activities, or making friends, please let Dr. Kneer or Mrs. Theodosiou know.
The grade-level principal and/or counselor will schedule a time for a tour, a conversation, or a discussion with you and/or your child.
Students with an IEP can be particularly stressed during the transition process. Proper implementation of your child’s IEP is important for his or her success. Please be proactive and call the grade-level principal or counselor so that the transition process can be smooth for your student.
