I read the futuristic extension of Caulfield Inc. with great fascination. I'm thinking Holden would probably balk at anything institutionalized, even if it purported to espouse his values, but in a really fascinating way, the scenario could be viewed as an very long extension of the service-orientation 21st c businesses are increasingly engaged in. Wouldn't it be cool if we were in the very early stages of a worldwide movement toward greater authenticity?
