City Sunlight (Justice Jones)

Don’t like to make waves much,

Being a woman that is

Always content. Would I waste my time

when there’s so much more

To spend

My fire on?

Beyond these lights and city

Walls,

Are majestic mountains,

flowing fountains,

Boundless horizons of color.

But. The colors that fill

In midtown

Are Bland,

Opposite of my flow!

Don’t like to make,

Waves. But get me political!

I’ll show you waves.

Rouge waves

Of color,

Tidal Waves

Of morality.

Get me political.

I’ll show you

Who I am.

The Sheapard-ESS,

Bringing upon the days

Of the equal and righteous

Man.
