Peaceful Breeze
after Ground Swell painted by Edward Hopper
A group of relaxing friends,
Not caring for the world.
As the wind blows,
The earth looks like it just twirled.
The boat rocks,
Could put anybody to sleep.
But the buoy rings its bell,
Takes the life out of the sheep.
No land in sight,
But their ground swell.
It’s so peaceful,
It’s hard to yell.
