Mr. Moyenda Anwisye graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachlor's Degree in Psychology. He received his Master's Degree in Counseling from St. Louis University and is currently working toward the certification of Licensed Professional Counselor. In his role as District Counselor, Mr. Anwisye works with students across all grade levels, helping them to strengthen their social emotional competency. He currently coordinates the Superintendent's Social Justice Leadership Advisory Council (SSJLAC), a district-wide leadership group for students. He also co-coordinates and co-presents many of the social justice experiences in the district for both students and staff, sponsored by the Office of Pupil Personnel and Diversity. In addition, he sits on several district-wide committees that are geared toward the promotion of equitable educational opportunities for all students. At Parkway North High School, Mr. Anwisye is the co-facilitator of Boys 2 Men leadership group, Student for School Success Skills Group and Sidekicks. Mr. Anwisye loves to spend time with his wife and children. He enjoys running, reading and the great outdoors.
