Alyssa Herrera graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a minor in Sociology. She received her Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. Ms. Herrera is the school Social Worker for the north area in Parkway School District covering North High, Northeast Middle, Bellerive, Craig, McKelvey and Ross Elementary schools. In addition, Ms. Herrera is the Homeless Student Liaison for the Parkway School District's Homeless Coordinator's Office. she also assists in the facilitation of district wide social justice programs for both students and staff, sponsored by the Office of Pupil Personnel and Diversity.
Ms. Herrera enjoys spending time with family, watching/playing sports, reading, traveling, listening to music and playing fantasy football.
