Fundraising:
Miles for Money (a jog-a-thon) will be held on March 14, 2013 during practice. Each girl has a goal to raise $20 and submit the funds raised to the bookstore. Proceeds will be used to buy new equipment or shorts for the girls track team.
Miles for Money Form Money will be due to the bookstore by March 25!
Parents: If you are interested in helping Mr. Jermaine Holt pay for and/or organize food for our Saturday track meets, please email him at jholt215@gmail.com He is also looking for a some volunteers to work our April 17 home meet concession stand.

Interested in Running Track in College:
Anyone interested in running track at the collegiate level MUST see their counselor about NCAA requirements, don't wait until your senior year. This is something that must be done early in your high school career. The NCAA requires specific course work, ACT/SAT scores, etc. Visit the NCAA Clearninghouse website for more information.

Throwing shoes can be purchased at a local retailer or online. If you decide to purchase throwing shoes, buy the rotational shoes. Rotational shoes can be used for glide or spin because of their design, where as glide shoes are flat and make it a little more difficult to rotate.
