Second Congressional Art Competition Results

Jennifer Juang, Pennie Liu, Elise Zwikelmaier, and Alexa Machnik had their work entered into the annual Congressional Art Competition sponsored by the Honorable Todd Akin of Missouri's Second District. Students from around the Second District entered an art peice for the chance to be selected to have their piece hang in Washington for the next year and receive two tickets from Southwest Airlines to fly to Washington DC for the opening of the Congressional Show. Congratulations to Pennie Liu whose Cubist Painting "Nature Study" was selected second place and will hang in the congressman's office in Washington.

Congressional Art Competition for Missouri’s First District

Najee Person and Sean Ji had their artwork submitted to represent Parkway North at the Annual Congressional art Competition for Missouri’s First District Represented by Lacy Clay. They competed against other high school students who reside in the First District.

Congratulations to Najee Person whose ink drawing "I am!" won the competition to represent Missouri’s First District for the next year in Washington DC. Najee will receive two tickets from Southwest Airlines to attending the opening of the show in June.
