From the Superintendent: Board Approves Attendance Boundary Adjustments
November 2011
On November 2, the Parkway Board of Education approved attendance boundary changes beginning in August 2012. The boundary adjustments are necessary to reduce significant overcrowding at Craig and McKelvey elementary schools.
To determine whether and how the boundary changes affect your family, please review the neighborhood areas listed below.
If you do not live in one of these areas, you will not be affected by the boundary adjustments.
Moving from Craig Elementary to Ross Elementary:
(no change to middle or high schools)
Moving from McKelvey Elementary to River Bend Elementary:
(and Northeast Middle/North High to Central Middle/Central High)

There is more information on the Parkway website, including maps of the areas affected, “grandfathering” options for students, special assignment forms and answers to frequently asked questions.
A letter with more details is being mailed to all Parkway families residing in the areas listed above. Those assigned to a new school will be contacted by their principals in the near future about transition activities and other ways families can get acquainted with their new school communities.
