Dear North High Families,

One of the most interesting parts of being an adult in a school filled with teens is overhearing conversations in the hall. I can learn about the latest slang, fashion and relationships in a five minute passing period. I also often hear students having more serious conversations regarding their classes, teachers, parents and classmates.

NORTH HIGH STUDENT PLACED IN THE ST. LOUIS TEEN TALENT SHOWCASE COMPETITION

In the spirit of fostering the emerging talent in the St. Louis performing arts community, the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation is proud  to produce and present an adjudicated competition showcasing the splendidly talented teens of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Students will compete for college scholarships, prizes and public appearance opportunities.

• All tutoring/community service logs must be turned in to Ms. Fallahi by May 1st. Be sure that you are on track to earn 50 hours prior to that date.

Art Department

Congratulations to the nine North artists Alexandria Stanley, Jennifer Juang, Nicole Brawley, Sean Ji, Taylor Abernathy, Adam Karr , Alexa Machnik, Kelly Gruber and Maya Mironova whose work was juried into the annual"Young Artists’ Showcase" competition at the St. Louis Artist Guild.
