Melanie Laurence – Sophomore

Melanie puts so much work into everything she does. If you are ever feeling down, Melanie will give you the reassurance you need to persevere. Her positive attitude and contagious laugh will rub off on anyone. Melanie is involved in Cross Country, Debate, Swimming, and Track. She spends her free time volunteering in the community with her youth group.

Nakia Brandon – Sophomore

Nakia is one of the most inspiring girls I know. She works harder than everyone in everything she does. Nakia always does the right thing and always with a bright smile on her face. She is the friend who will always be there for you. Nakia is involved in Track, Cheerleading, Medical Club, and Debate. Outside of school, Nakia volunteers at a nursing home, and is involved in the UMSL Bridge Program and Cameron Youth Orchestra.

Shira Diamant – Junior

Shira has a strong work ethic and a desire to help those in need. She juggles a busy schedule of school activities throughout the week but still manages to find time to help out in the community. On weekends, Shira spends many hours volunteering at the St. Charles Crisis Nursery Center. She spends the afternoons playing with the kids, bonding with children who need attention, and feeding them dinner.

Tess Dobkin - Senior

Tess is known for always be willing to help out. She is part of the United Hebrew Temple Youth Group which combines with other youth groups to volunteer at Camp Rainbow to work with kids with cancer and blood related disorders. Tess has been helping out at the camp for several years and plans to continue volunteering.

Erica Roux – Junior

Erica is an amazing person. She is involved in several school activities which include Field Hockey, Soccer, STARS and Peer Teaching. At the same time she maintains academic success while enrolled in several honors courses. Outside of school, Erica volunteers in the community during the winter with her Temple.

Rafe Janssen - Junior

Rafe is a hard worker in school and on the football field. He has been a varsity player for the past two years and is a leader on the field. Rafe is part of a leadership program at North called STARS. He also finds time to help out with his church food drives.

Stephanie Mazzoni - Junior

Stephanie is a very determined student and strives for her best in the classroom. Currently, she is also a leader on the Golf Team. She always goes the extra step in everything she does. During the summer, Stephanie spends many hours as a Rams clean-up volunteer.

Jessica Hoac - Junior

Jessica has a very happy spirit and participates enthusiastically in the classroom. She maintains academic success while working a part-time job and volunteering in the community to feed the homeless. She also volunteers with the Black Expo Association.

Danny is a good student and friendly person who often puts others first. He is a member of National Honor Society and a loyal "Superfan." Danny spends his free time giving back to the community through volunteering with Chords For Kids.

Jessica is determined, goal-oriented and always willing to help those in need. At North, she is a member of Mu Alpha Theta. Outside of school Jessica volunteers at the Café of Grace Church and with Chords for Kids.
