BUTTERFLY HOUSE VOLUNTEER NEEDS FOR 2012: See Mrs. Fallahi for contact information if you would like to volunteer for any of the following. All events do involve working with children and may include helping with a craft or game or supervising an educational activity/station. We ask that you come prepared to be friendly and outgoing as many children are a little shy at first! All first time volunteers under the age of 18 need to bring a signed parental/guardian consent form, which can be found at: Parental Consent Form . To speed up check-in, you may fill out the volunteer application and bring it with you, Application.
I ask that volunteers work a full shift and come dressed in navy, black, or khaki slacks or shorts (Capri's are okay), a logo free white shirt (no tank tops or low-cut shirts please) and closed toed shoes. No food is sold on site, so feel free to bring a snack. When you arrive, please let the volunteer at the front desk know that you are here to help with the event and they will let you know where to go. I will take volunteers on a first come basis, so make sure you let me know right away if you can help. All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
