Attention A+ Students:  If you are planning on earning hours for the A+ program over the summer, you must have your signed A+ Agreement and tutor training certificate on file in Mrs. Fallahi's office by Wednesday, May 23rd.  All paperwork as well as the tutor training can be accessed through the A+ website available through the PNH homepage.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to the following Water Polo athletes on their recognition in the All-District teams. Michael McWard earned Honorable Mention All District recognition, a great achievement for a sophomore. Kyle Danuser earned Third Team All District for both Deep and Shallow Goaltending. Peter Buelter earned First Team All District recognition, and finished the season leading the St. Louis area in goal scoring with a new St. Louis scoring record of 133 goals. Please congratulate Michael, Kyle and Peter on these prestigious awards.

Attention Lady Track Athletes please remember to turn in your uniform to Coach Reinisch in Science.

The 2012 Spring Football Meeting will be held TODAY in the Theater. The meeting will begin at 2:45 pm sharp and each player needs to bring a pen or a pencil. If there are any questions see Coach Bunton.

Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn, & Stanford will hold Exploring College Options student and parent information sessions on SUNDAY at 7:30pm at the Marriott St Louis Airport Hotel.

Fontbonne University is sponsoring The City Summer Project. Juniors & seniors who are motivated to learn more about the people of St Louis may attend this camp & receive 2 college credits. Cost is $300 and deadline is June 1.

Join us at Washington University in St. Louis on Thursday, June 7th or Tuesday, July 24th and we'll help you get started on planning for college. Washington University in St. Louis invites you to college planning conference for high school students & their parents. You need to pre-register. Information in Guidance.

STLCC-Meramec will hold a workshop for teens interested in digital animation, Photoshop, special effects, visual effects on Friday, June 8 from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Colleges That Change Lives will visit St Louis on August 27 at 7pm at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac.

The State Parks Youth Corps is gearing up to help Missourians ages 17-23 gain work skills, experience Missouri's beautiful outdoors and earn money. The program will employ young Missourians in state parks and sites throughout the state. Visit MO.gov.

Math Boot Camp will be held at all 4 St Louis Community College Campuses this summer for recent high school graduates & students who have completed an advanced math course but whose results on the STLCC placement test were below expectations. This course includes an intensive overview of whole number operations, decimals, fractions, and percents. At the completion of the course students may choose to retake the placement test.

The Scottrade Center & Peabody Opera House are pleased to announce the continuation of High School Student Employment Program. The Program provides jobs to selected qualified students. You must be 16 years of age, be a junior or senior, have a "B" average, present 2 recommendation letters, present a current transcript, meet appearance & employment standards. Apply on-line. Interviews will be conducted in June & July. Orientation & training will be held in late July & August. You must be available to work 50% of events.

The Missouri Democratic Coordinated Campaign is currently looking for summer interns.  Find more information under the "Job Shadowing" tab on the A+ website.

If any student is interested in the Mizzou Sciences of Life Academy this summer in July, come to Guidance for an application. There are still openings.

Kemper Home Services is offering a 10 week summer employment opportunity to juniors & seniors for full time employment.

The Parkway District College Fair will be at Parkway North in September.

Guidance has a copy of the 2012 Post Directory of Explorer Programs. High School students can test Career interests in a hands on work place environment. Come see what is offered.
