Central High Student Earns Highest Score in Missouri on AP Exams

Central High senior, Zhimeng (Kristy) Yang, is one of the two highest scoring Missouri students on the mathematics, science and technology Advanced Placement (AP) exams. The high test scores qualify Yang for the College Board’s Siemens Advanced Placement Award.

The award is given to the male and female student earning the greatest number of scores of five on the AP scale of one to five on the following AP exams: biology; calculus BC; chemistry; computer science AB; environmental science; physics C: electricity and magnetism; or physics C: mechanics and statistics. Students must obtain a score of five on at lest two of these exams to qualify for the award.

Each year the Siemens Foundation recognizes students, teachers and high schools in each of our 50 states for excellence in AP math and science.
