Learning is a lifelong adventure for the school community at Mason Ridge Elementary. Building on the inquisitive nature and intellectual curiosity of children, the Mason Ridge staff provides learning opportunities designed to stimulate and challenge young minds, and instills a sense of belonging and mutual respect among students.
Promoting strong character through our Five Bees program, students understand the value of becoming responsible citizens of our community. Reading Recovery, reading support instruction, and multi-level communication arts programs are all designed to support our school's goal in the area of literacy achievement. Our science lab, our greenhouse, and our communication arts center are additional resources present at Mason Ridge that engage students in hands-on learning.
Mason Ridge parents are active in classrooms and in many school activities such as Kids Voting, Book Fair, the Mason Ridge Live talent show, Spirit Day and our end-of-year school picnic. The PTO also supports our students' learning opportunities by providing funding for Arts Partners, enriching our school's library, and keeping our science lab up-to-date with supplies and equipment. Additionally, parents sponsor organizations such as scouting and math clubs.
We believe that our joint efforts - home and school - create the connections that focus on the individual child while understanding that we are members of the whole - the Mason Ridge community.
