Central High Student Wins $75,000 Scholarship & Meets President Obama

The top three winners of the 2009 Intel Science Talent Search at awards gala pose with their medals. William Sun, a senior at Parkway Central High School, won second place in the Intel Science Talent Search, a premier national science competition for high school students.

The award came with a $75,000 scholarship. Sun was selected from 40 finalists.

On Monday Sun met with President Barack Obama, along with other students from across the country.
