Third Highest ACT Scores in Missouri

The complete data on 2007 ACT scores is in, and Parkway students achieved the third highest ACT composite score in the state of Missouri — 24.3.
When considering another important factor — the number of students scoring at or above the national average — Parkway places fourth in the state of Missouri with 67.3 percent of students above average.
Parkway students also achieved the highest average composite score in the history of the District. The composite score of 24.3 is a dramatic increase from the 2006 average of 23.5. Just as impressive, is that 84 percent of Parkway graduates took the test in 2007, compared to 74 percent statewide.
Parkway students continue to surpass the state and national averages which are 21.6 and 21.2 respectively.
“We are very excited about this superior academic score of 24.3. Not only are our students doing well on the ACT, but more students are taking the test, which means more Parkway students will be college-bound,” said Superintendent, Robert Mailto. “We want to thank all of our teachers K-12 who help to make Parkway students so successful.”
