Parkway's Golden Key Card Opens Door for Senior Adults

Any Parkway resident 65 years and older, and any Parkway School District retiree can obtain a complimentary Golden Key Card from Parkway School District. The Golden Key Card provides the holder with the opportunity to attend one Parkway Community School class per semester free (with some exceptions) and free admission to any Parkway regular season home athletic event (except for MSHSAA-sponsored activities). Holders of Golden Key cards are required to pay for any books, supplies and equipment for their free Parkway Community School class. The Parkway Community School, which is part of the district's Community Education Department, offers lifelong learning opportunities in before- and after-school, evening and weekend classes for students and adults. The program is self-supporting, and classes include swimming, computers, ballroom dancing, swing dancing, home repair, landscaping, foreign language, basket weaving, art and financial/estate planning, to name a few. Golden Key cards may be obtained by calling Parkway's Community Education Department at 314-415-7004/7005.
