Parkway announces new assistant principals and administrator

The Parkway School District is pleased to announce that the following new administrator and assistant principals have been approved by the Parkway Board of Education. All of the positions are effective July 1, 2010.
Corey Sink
Mr. Corey Sink has been has been appointed assistant principal at South High School. Sink is presently a high school assistant principal for the City of St. Charles School District. Prior to this position, Sink served as a marketing/business education teacher at St. Charles High School.
Sink earned two B.S. science degrees, one in business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and one in Business Education from Southeast Missouri State University. He earned his Master of Arts, with an emphasis in Secondary Education Administration from Lindenwood University. Sink has completed his course work toward his Doctorate in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University and expects to finish in of 2010.  
Lori Maddox
Lori Maddox has been named as assistant principal for the district's alternative high school, Fern Ridge, and the Missouri Option Program, REACH and PACE. Maddox has been the assistant principal at West Middle since 2008. Maddox was also an assistant principal at South Middle. Prior to this position, she served as assistant principal, administrative assistant, and teacher at South High. Maddox also served as a substitute assistant principal for the Rockwood School District.
Maddox received a B.S. in Education and a Master of Educational Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
Kerri Wetzel
Ms. Kerri Wetzel has been named the new coordinator of the Parents As Teachers Program for Parkway. Wetzel is currently the coordinator of Parents As Teachers for the Ladue School District and has been in this position since 2009. Wetzel served in the following additional positions for Ladue -- Parent and Child Together Program coordinator, parent educator, and discussion leader. She has also worked in child care in Japan and as a kindergarten teacher in Germany.
Wetzel received a B.A. in Psychology, English and English Writing and a Masters of Education in Special Education, Early Intervention and Early Childhood from the University of Pittsburgh.
