Parkway Board to Sponsor Work Sessions to Discuss VST Program

During the 2004-05 school year, the public is invited to participate in any one of a series of work sessions with the Parkway Board of Education as they begin preliminary conversations about the district’s long-term role in the St. Louis Voluntary Student Transfer program. The work sessions will allow the board to listen to and seek input from the Parkway community. Please note these meetings are to discuss long-term participation in the program. The board has already determined that currently enrolled VST students may choose to continue attending a Parkway school until they graduate and new VST students may continue to enroll in Parkway schools through 2008-09 in accordance with approved class size standards. The meetings will take place at 7 p.m. as indicated below. For more information, contact the Parkway Public Affairs Department at (314) 415-8077.
