New Parkway principals announced

Dr. Patrice Aitch has been selected as the new principal at Parkway South High, replacing Gary Mazzola who is retiring after 31 years with Parkway. Aitch has 18 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. She taught high school social studies for six years and has served as assistant principal at South High for the past 12 years. Aitch holds a doctorate of education and an education specialist degree from Missouri Baptist University, as well as a master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in education from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.

Aaron McPherson has been selected as principal of Parkway’s Highcroft Ridge Elementary, replacing Ms. Simone Wilson who retired in December and Dr. Rhonda Coleman who has been serving as interim principal. McPherson has 10 years of experience as a teacher and administrator. He taught vocal music at Northeast Middle and Central Middle for four years, and served as administrative intern and assistant principal at South Middle, and assistant principal at Carman Trails Elementary. McPherson holds a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in vocal music from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo.
