Ross Elementary fourth-grader wants to be a superintendent

Carla Minor, a fourth-grade student at Parkway's Ross Elementary, was asked what she wants to be when she grows up and she said a school superintendent. Not the standard answer principals hear from kids. Principal Lisa Greenstein asked Carla why she wanted to be a superintendent she explained that they have the chance to help a lot of students.

Recently Interim Superintendent Dr. Don Senti (left) and Parkway’s next superintendent Dr. Keith Marty (right) visited Ross Elementary. While touring the school, they met Carla and had a chance to fill her in about life as a superintendent. Perhaps Carla will be Parkway’s superintendent in 2030?

Dr. Marty begins with the Parkway School District on July 1, 2011.  Marty will succeed Don Senti, who has served as interim superintendent since June 30, 2010, when Superintendent Robert Malito retired.
