Pattie Spencer, a Parkway receptionist, is the owner of that pleasant voice you hear most afternoons when you call the Administration building.
She is also the owner of City Peas, her own home decorating business. She makes stuffed pillows, plus toys and home decorations out of recycled wool sweaters. Her grandson, she says, inspired her to start the company. She wanted to make something special for him to celebrate his arrival to this world.
Adminstration folks have long known about Pattie’s creative capabilities. She conceives and executes many of the decorations for special events and celebrations. Now the world beyond Parkway will get a chance to applaud her capabilities. Click here to read more about her in stltoday.com
Some of her items are available at Verde Kids, 27 South Old Orchard Avenue in Webster Groves, and Home Eco, 4611 Macklind Avenue in St. Louis. View her items at citypeas.wordpress.com. You can also email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
