Employees shall receive leave with full district pay for the first one-hundred and twenty (120) hours of military leave in each federal fiscal year. Additional military leave shall be without pay, except as required by state and federal law. Before any payment of salary is made covering the period of the leave, the employee shall file with the Director of Human Resources, an official order from the appropriate military authority showing evidence of such duty for which military leave pay is granted. The order shall contain the certification of the employees commanding officer of performance of duty in accordance with the terms of such order.
Upon termination of such military service, an employee shall be re-employed by the district, in accordance with applicable laws.
