Henry Kindergarten's Home Page

Our kindergarten classes are filled with a variety of rich learning experiences, which provide our students a solid foundation and strategies for life long, learning.

We feel it is very important to provide both the child and parents a smooth transition to the big school. Therefore, before the start of school each year we have a scheduled kindergarten night for the student and their parents. The children bring their school supplies, find their seats, coat hooks and cubbies and meet some of their classmates. This helps relieve those first day jitters. Parents are welcomed by the PTO and also learn about their role at Henry. There is an opportunity to volunteer and to sign up for intake conferences.

About ten days after the start of school, we meet with each parent and listen as they share information about their child. This helps us as teachers learn more about our students, ensuring a successful transition from home to school.

In addition to our regular curriculum we have some annual special events.
