were approved with Matt making the motion to approve and seconded by Kitty.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Nick filled in for Deanna and he went over the report.
OLD BUSINESS: None on the agenda
NEW BUSINESS: Prices are being worked on for inventory at this time for the opening of the student
store.
HANNA COMMITTEES: None on the agenda.
FUNDRAISING: Matt mentioned that so far the Midland fundraiser was not a great return. So far
about fifteen calendars have been sold at this time.
ARTS PARTNERS: Tracy mentioned about 43 cars were at the Trunk or Treat. We will make about
$1,000 after expenses. About $872.00 has been made from Box Tops.
TEACHER REP REPORTS: Teacher’s are preparing for conferences at this time. On November 20, 2010
there is going to be work taking place on the Outdoor Education classroom.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT: Mr. Shelton mentioned that Allison Zeller is an advocate for recycling. She is
going to try to collect rainwater for a future school garden. There are brand new bridges around the
outdoor trails around the school. At this time there are no new updates on the room walls for the
classrooms. We ran a survey on Survey Monkey about the fall parties and Trunk or Treat. Overall the
response was nice for both with some negative responses. New lunch tables have been ordered for
the cafeteria. By January we are looking at streamlining the announcements on the computer and
the classroom teacher could display the announcements on their smart boards. We are also looking
into getting LCD Screens in the commons area for visitors waiting in the commons area. After
Thanksgiving we are going to change the schedule around. Lunch and specials will be moved
around. This will allow for a thirty minute block of time during the day for students that need some
interventions. We are going to try to work this schedule out before winter break and then be in full
swing after the New Year. It was mentioned that Winter Story night will be on December 7, 2010.
Then on February 17, 2011 this will be Cultural Diversity night.
MEETING ADJOURNMENT: The meeting ended at 7:44 p.m. with Taryn making the motion to end and
seconded by Mitzi.
