Emergency Notification System Test on October 16

Parkway will conduct a test of its emergency notification system at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16. This annual test to Parkway families ensures that we have accurate contact information for you in case of an emergency.

How the emergency test will work:


A phone and text message will be sent to all parent/guardian phone numbers - home, cell and work - at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 16. In addition, we will send a test alert notification to users of the Parkway Schools mobile app.

The message will say:

"This is Parkway's annual test of its emergency notification system. We will use this system to let you know if school is canceled due to severe weather or in case of an emergency at your school. Keeping our students safe is our number one priority, including being prepared for an emergency. It's important that we have updated contact information for your family in order for you to receive these notifications. To update or change your contact information, please visit the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you need assistance email IC-Portal@parkwayschools.net. If you received this call in error, please call 314-415-8077."
