North High Student Earns Perfect ACT and SAT

Abby Lammers, a senior at North High School, earned perfect scores on both the ACT and SAT college entrance tests. It’s a rare feat that only a few students across the nation accomplish each year.

According to the College Board that administers the SAT, only 0.035 percent of students nationally earned a 2400 on the SAT in 2014.

A 36 is the highest possible composite score possible on the ACT college entrance exam. Typically, less than one-tenth of one percent of all test takers earn the top score.

Lammers is attending Northwestern University in the fall and will study environmental engineering and economics. She has been active in environmental issues in middle and high school.
