Assistant Principal of the Year

Jennifer Dieken-Buchek, administrative intern at Barretts Elementary, is receiving the St. Louis Suburban Elementary Principals Association award for Outstanding Assistant Principal. She will be honored at the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals state convention in March. Dieken-Buchek is one of 13 assistant principals across the state to receive the honor.

Barretts Elementary principal, Dr. Kelli Moreton said, “Jenn has made many positive contributions to our school community and district. I'm so proud of her and think this is a well-deserved award.”

The Missouri Distinguished Principals program honors outstanding elementary and middle-level administrators who ensure that Missouri's children acquire a sound foundation for lifelong learning and achievement. By promoting excellent leadership, quality education and professional growth, this award celebrates principals and exemplifies their outstanding achievements as a school principal.
