Five Parkway Schools Make the State's "Top 10" List for Highest MAP Scores

Five Parkway schools made the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's "Top 10" lists in the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) subject area tests. The "Top 10" lists show the top 10 schools in the state that scored at the "proficient" and "advanced" levels on the 2005 MAP tests in communication arts and math. Parkway appeared seven times in "Top 10" listings. The Parkway schools that made the "Top 10" lists are: - Central High - 11th grade communication arts and 10th grade math - Central Middle - 8th grade math - South Middle - 7th grade communication arts - West High - 11th grade communication arts and 10th grade math - West Middle - 8th grade math Additionally, West High was among the top ten "Most Improved Schools" in 10th grade mathematics.
