Summer in Parkway: Can You Come Out and Play?

What is the best-kept secret in Parkway? Summer school, of course--where there’s something for everyone!

All Parkway residents should have received a summer school brochure in the mail this month. Parkway offers hundreds of “third semester of learning” classes for credit recovery, credit and elective courses in high school, and intervention and enrichment classes at all levels.

A variety of sports and youth camps are also available, including programs through the West County YMCA, as well as many adult evening courses and after summer school programs through Parkway Community Education. It’s not too late to register! Visit the “Summer in Parkway” Web site for class listings, a brochure and registration forms.

Want to check out other opportunities? Come to our 2nd Annual Summer of Fun event from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at the Instructional Services Center, 12657 Fee Fee Road, 63146.

Parents and students can meet representatives of various organizations, including Challenger Learning Center, COCA, Magic House, Scouting programs, the St. Louis Zoo and the YMCA to learn about and sign up for their summer programs and/or camps.
