School Board Considering Bond Issue

After several months of community study and input, the Parkway Board of Education is considering placing a no-tax-rate-increase bond issue on the November ballot.*****  The final recommendation for the bond issue was presented to the board on May 28 by Superintendent Malito and several parent representatives from the recent Town Hall meetings.

If approved by voters, the bond issue would not require an increase to the current tax rate. The school board is expected to make a decision by June 18. For more information, contact the Parkway public affairs office at (314) 415-8077.
