Last Day of School is May 23; Register Now for Summer Programs
Parkway did not have any days off due to snow this year. Therefore, the last day of school for students is Wednesday, May 23—a full day for grades PreK through 8; and a half day of finals in the morning for grades 9-12. This is one day earlier than listed on the original calendar. Don't forget summer programs begin on June 4, so register your child now! Vote Today to Help South High Art Program Win Competition
South High art students have already made it to the national semi-finals in the VANS custom shoe design competition! South was the only Missouri school to place. Now, with your help, they have a shot at an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles and a $50,000 prize for the art department. You must act by Thursday, May 3! Online Report Cards Next Year for Grades 6-12
Parkway will move to a paperless report card system for grades 6-12 beginning with the first reporting cycle of the 2012-13 school year.
Currently, copies of report cards are mailed six times a year to the household of every student in grades 6-12. Next year, secondary parents and students will use Infinite Campus’s Student/Parent Portal to retrieve report card information. Honor Your Favorite Teacher During Teacher Appreciation Week
National Teacher Appreciation Week takes place May 7-11. In Parkway, this is a special opportunity to celebrate and honor teachers and to thank them for their many contributions and service to students! This year, show your appreciation to the special teachers in your child’s life by purchasing a special greeting card from the Parkway Alumni Association (PAA). |
