MAP Testing: What do Parents Need to Know?

The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) testing for students in all Parkway schools will take place this year beginning March 31 through April 25.  MAP tests are mandated by the state and are intended to help determine what a child knows and is able to do according to the expectations for his or her grade level.***** Scores on the MAP tests are also used to determine how schools are performing according to state and federal guidelines.

Pillars of Parkway among Honorees at Appreciation Evening

In addition to Parkway teachers of the year, retirees, and employees with service award milestones, the recently announced 2008 Pillars of Parkway will be honored at Parkway’s annual Appreciation Evening dinner. A portion of all proceeds benefits educational programs that support Parkway.

Election Day is Tuesday, April 8, and on the ballot will be 10 candidates for three director positions on the Parkway Board of Education.***** In order as their names will appear on the ballot, the candidates are: Dee Mogerman, Antonio (Tony) Perez, Melvin Klearman, Donald (Zina) Bolazina, Bruce W.
