Students will:

Understand the processes needed to undertake a new task, break it down and solve problems.
Be a better consumer of music through the knowledge and insight they have gained.
Be aware of how music functions in life and have a deeper appreciation of the music in their everyday lives.
Gain skills in guitar or piano playing, opening up opportunities to further develop those skills as an adult.
Understand that the arts have developed in specific ways though time.
Be aware of career pathways that are possible through the study of music.
