Biography:

I am married w/ 4 children, all nearly grown. I graduated from University of Missouri - St. Louis. I enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking and backpacking as well as sewing, crafting and reading.

Biography:

I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri State University.I received my Master’s Degree from Maryville University in Environmental Education. I've taught school for 17 years in several areas including: Ferguson-Florissant School District, Brentwood School District, Francis-Howell, overseas in Australia, and this is my fourth year in Parkway. I spent one year working for Missouri Department of Conservation as an Education Consultant in Southeast Missouri. I just completed my Plus 30 this summer.

I have two children, ages 7 and 4, also 3 dogs and 1 cat. I love science, especially environmental studies. I am passionate about animals, exercising, and learning about nature.

Biography:

I am very excited to be teaching science to the students on Team 7-2 this year! Originally from St. Louis, I spent the first five years of my teaching career in Las Vegas and I am happy to be back home! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Middle School Education from Maryville University and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy sewing, hiking, and traveling - but most of all spending time with my husband and our son!

I have taught science at PCMS for eleven years and have been involved in student council, intramurals, and various outdoor education programs. I initially started out in the business world having received accounting and business finance degrees in college. My wife is also an educator and we love spending time with our two children.
