Biography:

Joseph Bradley (violin) was born and raised in Puerto Rico and had his first violin lesson when at 12 years old. His Bachelor\s Degree is from the Conservatory of Music in Puerto Rico, Master's Degree is in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from SIUE and Teacher Certification from Lindenwood University. After coming to the United States eleven years ago, this area has become his home. His wife Katrina is a soprano, older son Joey (violin) is eleven years old and baby William (maybe cello) is three weeks old.

Biography:

Paul Holzen is in his 20th year as a Parkway band director. He attended the UMKC Conservatory of Music, and holds a B.M.E. from the UMSL, and a M.A. in Music from Webster University. He is a member of the 571st Air Force Band in St. Louis, and has performed on 5 continents, including a 2006 tour of duty in Iraq, Kuwait and surrounding areas. He is married to Laura (a high school orchestra teacher), and has four children.

Biography:

Mr. Lackey has been the choir director at Parkway Central Middle School since 2006.  He also is the Concert Choir Director for the Kirkwood Children's Chorale.  He previously taught at Lebanon Jr. High School, Lebanon High School, Parkway Central High School and Parkway West High School.  He is the recipient of the 2003 MCDA Prelude Award and has directed and judged at a variety of conferences and festivals around Missouri.  His choirs have performed all around the United States and Canada including performing at the 2004 State Music Educators Conference.

Mr. Lackey received his Bachelors Degree in Vocal Music Education from Missouri State University, Springfield, MO. He holds a Masters Degree in Music Education and is currently working on his Doctorate in Education at University of Missouri, St. Louis. He is on the Board of Directors for Parkway NEA and is a member of MENC and ACDA.

Biography:

Mrs. McCracken is so excited to be in her 8th year of teaching and 2nd year at PCMS! Prior to PCMS, she worked in the Ritenour School District for 6 years at both Ritenour Middle and the high school. Mrs. McCracken has a BA in Theater from Truman State University and a MS in Education with an emphasis in Literacy and Learning in the Content Areas from Walden University. In addition to teaching 8th Grade Drama Lab, 7th Grade Drama Explo Block, and 6th Grade Cultural Connections, she will produce full main stage shows in both the fall and spring!
