Keeping Students Safe and Drug Free

Town Hall Forum on Underage Drinking & Substance Abuse

Parkway and other area community organizations with a focus on keeping students safe and drug-free are sponsoring a Town Hall Forum, "Breaking Thru Barriers: The Power of Parents," from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, at St. Luke’s Hospital Auditorium.

The forum will feature a variety of speakers, including students and parents, primarily on the topic of underage drinking but also on understanding the teen brain, recognizing risky behavior and gateway drugs and parenting without hovering to deter substance use and abuse.
