News from the Counseling Office:
The Ferguson-Florissant School District offers night school classes for students who want to complete course work for high school graduation. Classes start June 4 and end July 5. Registration is now open for the Summer Session. Classes are held at the Mark Twain Student Support Center in Florissant and are $85 ($95 after May 22). See your Counselor for more information.
If you are planning on earning hours for the A+ program over the summer, you must have your signed A+ Agreement and tutor training certificate on file in Mrs. Byergo's office by Wednesday, May 23rd. All paperwork as well as the tutor training can be accessed through the A+ website available through the PCH homepage.
If you earned a 3.5 or above first semester please see Mrs. Johnson in the principal’s office for your Straight A Cardinals ticket.
The library will be open for final exam studying on Monday, May 21st from 11:35 to 1:30. Academic Center tutors will be available. Bring a lunch, light snacks will be provided. Students must arrange their own transportation. Now is the time to check out five Paperbacks for summer reading, due after Labor Day.
Any student who will be 18 years old on or before November 6 of this year, please stop by the Mrs. Taylor's room to register to vote in this fall's general election.
Do you like to perform in front of large, enthusiastic crowds? Then you should consider trying out for next year’s PCH Color guard. The color guard is the visual ensemble of the PCH Marching Colts. They practice and perform with the marching band at all varsity football games, several contests and other community functions. No experience required. Pick up an information packet in the student activities office or music office. Clinics start TODAY after school.
Looking for things to do over the summer? The Project Help bulletin board next to the school store has been updated with service opportunities, including volunteering at special needs camps and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Be sure to check it out!
All football players need to turn in Rams camp forms to Coach Goldenberg TODAY. See Coach Goldenberg with any questions.
In sports action tonight: Varsity Tennis will compete in Sectional action vs. Francis Howell at 3:00 PM at Hazelwood East. In sports action tomorrow: Boys' and Girls' Track will compete at Timberland starting at 11:00 AM in their Sectional Track Meet. Best of luck to all athletes
