Celebrating Children, One Day at a Time
Dear Carman Trails Families, As we wind up the school year, let me tell you this. Carman Trails is an incredible place to be. The accomplishments, successes and growth of so many of our students have been amazing to watch. Each Friday, we read many of the awards that students have exhibited to show they are capable, curious and confident. These are just a fraction of what we get to witness daily. The month of May always gives us a chance to look back and see how far each student has come, not just academically but social-emotionally also. Thank you so much allowing us the distinct privilege of teaching your children. It is a wonderful journey! Counselors' CornerSummer is right around the corner. Below are some suggestions to help your family find the balance when there’s less time in school and more time at home. We hope these ideas help you and your child enjoy some good times together in the next few months.
· Set the pace from the beginning of the summer by setting a routine to help your child know what to expect. · Find the balance by combining structured activities with unstructured time for “kids to be kids”.
