How Project List was Developed

In the spring of 2008, several hundred Parkway residents participated in a series of meetings to study Parkway's school buildings and instructional facilities. Participants were asked to share ideas, provide input and discuss priorities for future school repair and renovation project.

The first meeting reviewed school budget and finance issues. The second meeting focused on facilities improvements and instructional (classroom) space needs. Both meetings were open to the public.

The committee recommended that the Parkway Board of Education place a bond issue on the November 2008 ballot. The Board voted unanimously in support of the bond issue, and it passed with overwhelming support from Parkway citizens.
