During
the year our students have the opportunity to participate in a number of
special
events or activities. Our teachers plan field trips
to cultural events and sites in the St. Louis area such as the zoo, the
St. Louis Symphony or a St.
Louis Cardinals baseball game. Field
trips in the area might also include grocery stores, banks, libraries or
post offices. In addition, we have all-school events such
as UN Day, writing contests, holiday parties and a school picnic so all
students are provided with a time to interact together as a school.
All of our students get together on United Nations Day
to celebrate their heritage.
We
have a few parties each year where students enjoy food and fun.
